My name is Sarah and I'm mom to 3 wonderfull black greyhounds. Our youngest Angel is 6, our "middle child" Freddie is 8 and Brooke our senior hound turned 12 about a month ago.

About a month ago we learned this sweet senior that we adopted at 11 and a half has osteo. At her age decided as a family to just keep her comfortable in her finally days. The cancer is in her right front shoulder. And our vet didn't think she would be a good canidate for amputaion and we decided not to do chemo too. So we are keeping her comfy in her final days. She's on a mix of Deramaxx and Tramdol. And so far she been doing ok. But we do know that she is going to go down hill fast and we're trying to be ready for that.
