Welcome to what we hope will be a welcoming and supportive place for you, for however long you need to be here.

Hope for Hounds promotes raising awareness of research on cancer in greyhounds. We raise money specifically for Ohio State's Greyhound Health and Wellness Program. The OSU GHWP is a unique program that benefits racing greyhounds and their owners. Dr Guillermo Couto and his team work tirelessly on our behalf to learn and treat diseases, that while not specific to greyhounds, affect them in a somewhat different way.

Hope for Hounds also provides support, through this board and through personal contact, to greyhound owners that have a hound with cancer.

This Board was created with the intent to provide that support while giving others, going through a similar journey, the chance to share their own experiences.

We are confident that everyone will respect that it is the right of each owner to treat their hound as they see appropriate. Whether this means using every medical treatment offered or simply keeping their hound comfortable - that is their choice, they know their greyhound best.

Life throws us many challenges, yet at the same time the rest of the world continues as if nothing happened. Here you will find there are friends that understand.
